Surely an informal opportunity for scientific cooperation with other futurists specially the open minded ones would be more valuable than attending a formal study program. My experience has shown me that this kind of friendship is more fruitful, because everyday you can learn new ideas from those professionals who think creatively about the future. This can be a good way for becoming a futurist.
Here are tips and my personal suggestions to become a futurist. Read the ful article at: http://www.futuresdiscovery.com/Futures%20Studies/14%20Tips%20for%20Becoming%20an%20Active%20Futurist.htm

People live with their dreams. Dreaming (not day-dreaming) builds our visions for future. In fact, we will confront with the future through our dreams. One of the greatest arts of human beings is realizing their own dreams. The dream of flight, the dream of walking in the bottom of an ocean, the dream of watching inside of an ant's head and many other dreams have brought us to the point that we are standing on now.
From a very past time I had intended publish my personal dreams, dreams that may be common among a number of futurists who are living in developing countries and are eager to bring their countries at the edge of scientific and technological progress. I really don't know how many of these dreams may come true, but I'm working with all my strength to realize them as far as I can. Please take a look at these dreams. You may find some of them as yours. If it is so, then share your comments with me and let's realize them through joint cooperation. I'm not confident about the realization of these dreams, but I'm sure with the possibility of our cooperation if we decide to do so. A [http://www.bestessays.com.au term paper] is a research paper written by students over an academic term or semester which accounts for a large amount of a grade and makes up much of the course. Term papers are generally intended to describe an event, a concept, or argue a point. A term paper is a written original work discussing a topic in detail, usually several typed pages in length and is often due at the end of a semester. There is much overlap between the terms "research paper" and "term paper". The phrase "term paper" was originally used to describe a paper (usually a research based paper) that was due at the end of the "term" - either a semester or quarter, depending on which unit of measure a school used. However, the term has fallen out of favor. Common usage has "term paper" and "research paper" as interchangeable, but this is not completely accurate. Not all term papers involve academic research, and not all research papers are term papers.

I would like responses to my essay on this topic. I think it's crucial to Global Forecast participants to think through how futurism is really done, and how it so often fails to capture obvious converging trends.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SEPTEMBER 22, 2019 Humans have 23 years to go Global Extinction Awareness System starts the countdown for Homo sapiens. PALO ALTO, CA — Based on the results of a year-long supercomputer simulation, the Global Extinction Awareness System (GEAS) has reset the "survival horizon" for Homo sapiens - the human race - from "indefinite" to 23 years. “The survival horizon identifies the point in time after which a threatened population is expected to experience a catastrophic collapse,” GEAS president Audrey Chen said. “It is the point from which a species is unlikely to recover. By identifying a survival horizon of 2042, GEAS has given human civilization a definite deadline for making substantive changes to planet and practices.” More,....follow this link: http://www.iftf.org/node/2098 This is a game of survival, and we need you to survive. Super-threats are massively disrupting global society as we know it. There’s an entire generation of homeless people worldwide, as the number of climate refugees tops 250 million. Entrepreneurial chaos and “the axis of biofuel” wreak havoc in the alternative fuel industry. Carbon quotas plummet as food shortages mount. The existing structures of human civilization—from families and language to corporate society and technological infrastructures—just aren’t enough. We need a new set of superstructures to rise above, to take humans to the next stage. You can help. Tell us your story. Strategize out loud. Superstruct now. It's your legacy to the human race. Shall we play? Superstruct Now Get a head start on the game. It’s the summer of 2019. Imagine you’re already there, and tell us a little bit about your future self. Where are you having dinner tonight? Email your answer to superstruct@iftf.org! or go to http://www.iftf.org/node/2098 and log in to add your comments to the blog there. |
