A wonderful little gadget, the military has been unclear on how or whether they will use unmanned bombers such as the Boeing X-45C pictured above. Whether or not they actually do it is their choice, but man they look cool. –Nick Shaw

This is an interesting diagram of a future supercarrier. It would be one of the biggest ever, and is something that would greatly increase the US's rule over the seas and the air. -Brad Stein

Sarcos Exoskeleton

The exoskeleton promises to make a difference to many areas of military and civilian life alike. As demonstrated in the video, soldiers will be able to do what they need to for longer. Meaning a soldier's efficiency will be greatly increased. The further applications are yet to be tested, but refined models should be able to assist those with physical disabilities, not to mention the possibility for a commercial edition. The suit allows you to be gently enough to play catch, but allows enough strength to load a missle on a plane without any fatigue. With the suit on route to be completed by 2008 with its own portable power supply, along with various models that pretty much make a Master Chief possible -MustanshiomcHatman

Almost right out of Halo, this suit is a current working exoskeleton suit. It has been balistic tested, full body and the helmet is air conditioned to prevent hyperventalation. Contains a communications system and a laser that can mark targets for other friendly troops to take care out.

Mounted on a transmogrified Boeing 747 is this airborne laser. This big U.S. Air Force aircraft is the last thing an enemy missile commander wants to see. It can hunt down and kill an evil-doer's missile from amazing distances-using a 3 pronged spotting and killing system. This of which can not only track and destroy the missile long before it even becomes gets anywhere close to U.S. soil, but it could also figure out where it was shot from. -MustanshioMcHatman

Armed Patrolling Robots

So in Iraq a few months ago the first unarmed robots were put into a patrol routes to stop human loses against the people we are still fighting against. They are making patrols and hopefully will avoid many human deaths. -Alan Cacciamani

You're looking at an army of one here, about a million dollars in tech that can be taken out with a single missile or grenade. Bullets probably won't stop him though so the average riot or uprising will become even harder and less likely. So I'm not sure if this invention is going to be good or bad.

A more advanced version of the polygraph in which the suspect is read certain details or words related to a crime, and the brain scanned to detect if memory or current thought is processing the same terms. Seems like we are becoming more like robots, rather than robots like us. - Steven Janca

So I don’t know if I cheated or not, technically the above is from the Discovery Channel show “Future Weapons”, a pretty good show, and quite relivant to our interests. Pictured above is the AA-12, the only shotgun (12 gauge) that can shoot about 300 rounds per minute. That’s one mean Spartan gun! I labeled it here simply because I'm not sure if it's really a good thing if we find faster ways to viciously kill people. – Nick Shaw

Meth Gun
Meth Gun
http://kvoa.com/Global/story.asp?S=7154752
This gun uses ultraviolet light to see if any meth residue is on anything. Many concerns are raised with this, if your neighbor are manufacturing then this residue might attach to you, leading to a false arrest. This technology is being tested in Arizona and is working on developing guns that can detect other drugs as well.
