Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS)
Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics. Ranking of math and science skills of U.S. youth relative to other countries. Every four years, started in 1995 (next in 2007). Documents a long-term decline of math and science skills in almost all developed world's youth. Fortunately, there are exceptions (Finland, etc.)
